STEVEN ALAN S/S 2012 PRESENTATION.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK HAS YET TO

DISAPPOINT! This was my first fashion week and I didn’t know what to expect. I wore all black everything with a red hot blazer and sexy black leather boots … and it rained and it poured. Besides my hair turning from a curled and tousled mane to a frizzy mess, STEVEN ALAN kicked off my fashion week lovely. I’ve always had a thing for PREPPY styled men, so I very much enjoyed how Steven Alan didn’t stray too far from very much adored niche in his SS collection. It was very reminiscent of the early sixties … I wanted to grab a model, throw down a blanket and have (beautiful, fashion clad) picnic ^_^. With the terrific use of color blocking (FAVORITE look was the Adam Top with the Danny Pant and loafers), light demin, and gingham for the ladies and the kind use of color and casual suiting – with GREAT shirts for men, Steven Alan definitely LIGHTENED up a dark and gloomy morning in NYC.
