MIK CIRE F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW.

Mik Cire was an example of great casting. It was very Altuzarra-esque. A lot of cashmere was used in the collection as well as wool, flannel and silk. I personally liked how lambskin and calfskin were incorporated into the collection as well. black was the predominant color with the focus being clearly on materials. The leather backpacks were by cape cod leather, and really accentuated the outerwear which featured assymetric cuts, double-breasted coats, and studded blazers softened by silk, cotton, and rabbit fur. Also worth mentioning is that the belts were draped from hip loop to opposite loop with scarves serving as belts. Shoes were typically combat boots or oxfords. I’m really looking forward to this collection.
