We sent our Fashion Week Correspondent, Allysson Prada, to the Complexgeometries presentation at the NYC Gentleman’s Club, The Westway.
The name itself gives it away. Complexgeometries was held at a gentleman’s club which was probably the best place to have it displayed. Aside from the riskey atmosphere, the clothes fit right in. Chunky knits, glittered chiffon, and harem pants evoked the exception of a unisex look. Giving the male models a more feminine look opened eyes to how the boyish look on a women can work just as well the other way around. Major platform boots that looked like they just came out of a time machine from the 70’s is definitely something to look out for this fall.
